You can pull that pot out of the outer clay pot to check on the roots. I find I only have to water them every two to three weeks. Wait until the top sphagnum moss is dry to the touch. SpletI personally think that what you get is really amazing considering that even the largest orchid you could ever get from them is less than 20 dollars. Some of my favorite plants have come from trader joes. I have seen Paphs, Oncidium, brassia, zygopetalums, cymbidiums and miltonias at Trader Joes.
