WebGerminated brown rice alters Aβ(1-42) aggregation and modulates Alzheimer's disease-related genes in differentiated human SH-SY5Y cells . The pathogenesis of Alzheimer’s disease involves complex etiological factors, of which the deposition of beta-amyloid (Aβ) protein and oxidative stress have been strongly implicated. WebThe inhibitory effects of the nanoparticles were verified by Thioflavin T assay, CD, and FESEM analysis. Furthermore, the toxicity of the nanoparticles on the neuroblastoma SH-SY5Y was assessed through MTT assay. Our results indicate that these nanoparticles efficiently inhibit amyloid aggregation formation, while exhibiting no in-vitro toxicity.

WebJun 1, 2012 · Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a complex, multi-factorial neurodegenerative disease. The aggregation of soluble β-amyloid (Aβ) into fibrillar deposits is a pathological hallmark of AD. The Aβ aggregate-induced ... Aβ42 fibrillization and attenuate Aβ42-induced cytotoxicity in SH-SY5Y ... WebIn this study immunocytochemical staining of human SH-SY5Y neuroblastoma cell lines with the HIS-1 anti-polyhistidine monoclonal antibody were determined. ... The role of neurotransmitters in protection against amyloid-β toxicity by KiSS-1 overexpression in SH-SY5Y neurons. ISRN Neuroscience, 2013, 253210. June 19, 2013 Other authors. WebA widely used model system to study this process is to seed amyloid filament formation in cultured cells using human brain extracts. Here, we report the electron cryo-microscopy (cryo-EM) structures of tau filaments from undifferentiated seeded SH-SY5Y cells, that transiently expressed N-terminally HA-tagged 1N3R or 1N4R human tau, using brain … the pig logo
